Positions available include those listed below. Agents will often fulfill the duties of both positions depending on the needs of the business.
1. Field Agents
Field Agents are independent contractors, required to:
Make face-to-face contact with customers. This communication involves making personal contact with a customer and delivering a client letter to their home. Additionally, an inspection is performed as necessary. The inspection involves taking photos, as well as documenting various elements of the property (condition, status, etc.). Agents do NOT act as collectors. They simply help bridge the gap when communication between customer and lender has been lost. Other requirements include:
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- Have a good work ethic
- Self Motivated and possess good interpersonal skills
2. Inspection Agents
Inspection Agents are Independent contractors required to:
Make a one-time visit to a location in order to inspect the condition of a property and/or collateral. This includes taking photos and completing a report on the overall property condition. Other requirements include:
- Have an attention to detail
- Want some flexibility in their schedule
- Have a good work ethic and be self motivated
General Requirements for all JMA Agents
- Reliable transportation
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Drug and background screening
- Must be able to operate a handheld personal digital assistance (PDA)
- Honest, self motivated, dependable
